Please joins us for a family explore of the Dutton Pines State Park loop trail with Conchitas Board member and educator, Kelsy Allan! We will explore a 0.5 mile loop trail together that is flat, wide and stroller/wheel/short legs friendly while we examine TREES and leaves. Activities will be offered to young ones to make tree-themed art, explore different leaves and bark as they look in the fall, and share some stories about the magic of deciduous trees.
Explore will be 60 minutes in length. All material provided.
WHO: Children ages 0-4 and at least one caregiver. Siblings are welcome!
COST: $10/family/meetup
Please dress your little one for the weather, wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle or sippy cup that they like.
We recommend having on hand: an extra layer of clothes, sunscreen, and diapers (for children in diapers).
We will let you know in advance if we are having a wet play day! This would also come with a recommendation to bring a rain coat and boots if you have them.
Plenty of off-street parking available! We will meet in the cabin to start the explore!
Trail is stroller/wheel friendly and the first 0.2 miles are wide and flat. The rest of this loop trail is slightly narrower and has a gradual elevation gain of about 100 feet.
Feel free to join us for part or all of this beautiful trail and explore!
